The food system needs all of us.

Zawadi Connections builds community food infrastructure. Your support — whether dollars, time, space, or institutional access — funds the build phase. Funders make the systems possible. Partners deploy them. Communities receive the benefit.

Your gift stays in Toronto.

Your donation funds the building of infrastructure that lasts beyond any single program cycle. The curriculum a teacher uses every year. The kitchen a food entrepreneur accesses every week. The farm that stewards 5 acres of Toronto conservation land every season. Zawadi Connections Inc. is a registered not-for-profit organization. Every dollar stays in Toronto.

Come grow with us.

Zawadi Connections’ infrastructure is built by people — educators, farmers, community organizers, and neighbours who show up. Volunteers support planting days at Zawadi Farm, workshop facilitation, Nomadic Supper events, and community outreach. Your time is part of the infrastructure.

Institutions can be instruments of food justice.

Zawadi Connections partners with institutions that have space, reach, or resources that can be activated for community food benefit. The Richview Kitchen model, the TRCA stewardship model, and the TDSB curriculum deployment model are all examples of what institutional partnership with Zawadi looks like in practice. If your organization has an underused kitchen, land, or programmatic reach — we want to talk.

Kitchen partnerships — license your commercial kitchen for community food programming, modelled on Richview Residence

School partnerships — bring Zawadi workshops into your school, modelled on TDSB EcoSchools

Land partnerships — steward agricultural land together, modelled on our TRCA agreement

Event partnerships — host or co-present a Nomadic Supper in your space

Are you a local farmer?

If you are looking for kitchen access, market connections, or community distribution in Toronto, Zawadi Connections was built to serve you — with particular attention to farmers from racialized and immigrant communities who have been historically underserved by food system infrastructure.
